After your HOME page and PRICES page, the most popular web page on most web sites is the frequently asked questions (FAQ), page.
It doesn’t matter if you are marketing a $6.96 pizza, a $689 washing machine, or a $286,000 flat for sale on the coast of Spain, people will have lots of questions, questions that you should attempt to answer.
Not only will answering those questions help your potential customers or clients make a decision, and reduce the volume of tyre-kicking enquiry calls and emails, it will also help Google and the other search engines work out what your web site is all about.
From an SEO point of view having a FAQ page helps in two ways. Firstly you give the search engines more text to chew on and index, (remember that search engines are just computers that process text and then do magic stuff with that text). Secondly the FAQ page gives you a great opportunity to link to other pages within you site with the relevant anchor text.

- Are batteries included?
And the great thing about writing FAQ pages is you don’t have to be a Shakesperesque wordsmith or copywriter.
