Is Blog Commenting Still Good for SEO?

The short answer is “yes”. But you have to know what blogs to look for and how.

Getting backlinks from blogs is a fast and cheap way of improving your SEO. And the best WordPress blogs to get those links from use a plugin called CommentLuv

Links from CommentLuv blogs are usually dofollow, which means Google Page Rank flows through the link to whatever page address you put in the blog comment. You standard blog may allow comments, but links from these blogs tend to be nofollow. Pretty much a waste of time.

So how do you find CommentLuv blogs? Yes, you Google it like this: http://tiny.cc/qhqt9y

Once you have found a blog of interest, do the following to increase the chances of getting your comment approved:

a. Read the post and work out what the writer is trying to say.
b. Write a comment of 2 to 4 sentences that directly addresses the ideas written about. Don’t just agree, or say”nice post”, add some value to the conversation.
c. Put you name in the name comment field, don’t be tempted to use your target keywords.
d. Put the full url of the web page on your site that you want the link to go to.

Here’s an example of a blog post that you could comment on: https://www.techtricksworld.com/10-winning-ideas-for-successful-startups/

It has a Page Authority of 31 and a domain authority of 48. Very sweet links.

That’s it. All done. With practice you can probably manage 10 to 20 blog comments per hour. These links are gold and very good for your SEO.

A friend on mine runs a plastering business, if it isn’t busy he asks his Receptionist to go blog commenting. She enjoys the process and he gets some very good backlinks.
